About Me

myspace layouts for Get this layout for your myspace page. Linda Bullock's vocal talent has long been compared to many of the powerful hard rockin' vocalists Ann Wilson, Sass Jordan and Pat Benatar. At the same time, her voice holds the versatility and soulful beauty of Joan Osborne and Diana Krall. Her heartfelt live performances will draw you in and keep you screamin' for more.Currently, she is a member of the Minneapolis cover band, Arena. Arena covers the metal ages from the 70's, 80' up to the present day. Belting out hits from the Ronnie James Dio days of Black Sabbath to the modern day rockers such as Evanescence and Audioslave. Members of Arena include Tedd Bullock (bass/vocals), Tim Ward (lead guitar/vocals, Dave Thomas (rhythm guitar) and Billy Wesp (drums).Linda has been in several bands in the past such as Decade, Wicked Blue and Jello Shot. It all started when she made guest appearances singing with her brother's band in Fox Lake, IL called Faceplant. Little did she know that first time she belted out "What's Up" from the 4-Non Blondes, that song would remain one of her staple tunes to this day. Wanting to stay a little closer to the Twin Cities, she auditioned and landed a back-up vocalist position in a band called Decade. It was with Decade that she gained experience from her bandmates Rick Stanko, Dan Lesney, Matt James, Drew Hayse, Lexi McFadden and Tedd Bullock. Full speed ahead, gaining more strength and confidence, Linda molded herself into the powerhouse she is today. Wanting to experience song-writing and recording, she joined an original band called Velocette with former Decade members Tedd Bullock, Lexi McFadden, Lee Delacruz and Andreas Johnson. The project still isn't finished yet as sometimes that's how it goes in the world of crazy musicians and their projects. In the near future, you will find her co-writing some original music along with her husband and long-time bandmate Tedd Bullock, Dave Thomas (guitar) and Lee Delacruz (drums) in an up and coming project called "Strangers On A Bus".A quote from Miss Linda:"I did all those things I was supposed to do. I did some things I was told NOT to do. I learned ALOT from ALL of those things! I'm STILL learning, still ALIVE, still makin' mistakes but most importantly having the time of my LIFE!! Music will always be a part of my life. Music is my release...so let it be written...so let it be told...!!" Now, that was a quote stolen from the Ten Commandments...whoops, see...still screwin' up!!! But, I think God forgives me for that one!!
