My interests lean toward movies, books, poetry, art, theater, dining out, dining in with good company, and seeing what different culture have to offer through traveling.
I'd like to meet people that have the same lust for life that I have. People who have an open mind about all sorts of topics; from sex to religion. I travel alot, so, having a network of friends and associates is always good to have on the go.
I rarely listen to Rap, but every now and then a song will catch my ear. I mostly listen to Reggae, Dancehall, Neo-Soul, and old school R&B. I listen to pretty much anything though. I can not get into Country or Go-Go music though. I can take about three songs and I'm done. My radio stations are "The Flow", "Suite 62", and "The Groove" on XMRadio.com. Goapele, Davina, Heather Headley, Vivian Green, Musiq, Maxwell, Lina, MosDef, Deborah Bond, Yamama'nym, Rahsaan Patterson, India Arie, Kelli Sae, Dwele, and Angie Stone just to name a few artisits. I'm addicted to DJ Jamad mixtapes. I discover all kinds of artist on his mixes.
Horror is my genre of preference, so I am really picky about the movies that are coming out these days. But I also get into Sci-Fi, Martial Arts, Comedy, Romance, Foreign Films (I love Audrey Tatou movies), oh and did I mention HORROR. Halloween, The Thing, Audition, A Tale of Two Sisters, Wolfen, Koma, Love Actually, EuroTrip, He Loves Me He Loves Me Not, Snake in the Monkey's Shadow, Shoalin Master Killer, Five Deadly Venoms, Fist of Legend, Cube, Saw, 12 Monkeys, The Usual Suspects, Snatch, Secretary, Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love, Red Shoe Diaries: The Movie. I can go on all day.
GOD BLESS the WB! Smallville is the shizz. I miss Buffy and Angel. The 4400, The Wire, CSI: Las Vegas, and Nip Tuck, all have me glued to the tv...lol I just got put on to The "L" Word, Lost, Grey's Anatomy and 24.
I enjoy reading mystery/suspense, horror, and romance novel. My authors are Dean Koontz, Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson, and Judith McNaught. If you've never read LIGHTNING by Dean Koontz, pick it up. Also, PARABLE of the TALENTS by Octavia Butler is an excellent read. If you can find erotic poetry that stimulates your mind as well as you loins then those are also excellent reads; and pass them along to me, as well.
