Hi,my name is John AKA Jon Ottinger . I'm an Artist-Illustrator-Sculptor
.I went to ACCD. I've worked on video games ,children's books, magazine covers , movie props.I'm a member of the SCBWI- Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. I have done jobs for Disney Interactive Studios , Dream Works, Universal studios, Warner Brothers.I love to spend my time painting ,designing ,sculpting , drawing, and lots of travel. I currently the Director of Design & Product Development at THK (I design toys and gifts).I designed a line of trucks that is in wal-mart called MIGHTY RIGZ and IMAGINATION ADVENTURE. ........................................................A few years ago I was drawing in my sketch book and drew the image of a little elf with his tough stuck on the north pole (the back cover of the book). I kept thinking about that little guy, so I decided to tell his mis adventuer in a picture book. It's kind of TOOL TIME meets RUDOLF THE RED NOSE REINDEER. His name is Gary ,and he's on his way to Santa's work shop for the first time,
to become a toy making elf.The Christmas book I've been working on ,Its still pretty rough ,but I'd like some constructive criticism. Don't worry I can take it (rejection is my friend). It's the botom slide show...........................thanks.j.....................
