I apologize that I only have a couple remixes and dj mixes left on my page. I had to take some of them down due to copyright concerns. Hopefully the artist will realize that when I do a remix or a include their song on my DJ mix that I give them full credit and link to their MySpace profile - I am helping to promote their music too.
The music on my profile comes from pretty low quality MP3s - if you would like CDs or higher quality MP3s, please message me and I will send them.
Mahalo (Thank you),
DJ Kee

BIO INFO:
Yes, it's me... this is my DJ profile, the other profile is my personal page.
Been spinnin since 91-92, when I used to watch the DJs (like DJ ALA ) and at the college parties at UC San Diego and go home to try and practice what I saw. I started out as a Hip Hop DJ, but when I moved back up the SF Bay Area, my DJ crew, Tsunami Sounds, consisted of Hip Hop and House DJs, so I learned to respect other types of music too.
I've been living in Honolulu, Hawaii since 2003. Playing in the clubs and living life. I regularly play Hip Hop (all styles), Dancehall, Mash Up, Downtempo, NuSoul, NuBossa, House and more. My most recent resident DJ spot was at the Wave Waikiki (RIP in May... after 26 years of rockin Hawaii's nightlife)
on DJing and Hip Hop...
Most people who know of me as a DJ would probably consider me to be Hip Hop DJ and that's great because I love Hip Hop. But at the same time, Hip Hop is just the tip of the musical iceberg. For me it is such an artificial dividing line to stick music or artists or DJs into categories like that. So many people have such a very narrow view of Hip Hop and they only like or follow one particular style of "true" or "real" Hip Hop. For me it's all Hip Hop, even when it's not... Face it, Hip Hop DJs invented DJ mixing as we know it today.
And so, on the macro scale of DJing in general... at a party, shouldn't a DJ be able to represent some of the diversity of the multitude of of styles and flavors of music? And it follows down to the microcosmic level for Hip Hop in particular... at a Hip Hop party shouldn't a Hip Hop DJ be able to represent some of the diversity of the multitude of styles and flavors of Hip Hop Music?
