Hailing from West Sussex, musician and composer Chad Marriott releases his debut album Paper or Gold in September 2008.Established as one of the best keyboard players in the UK, Marriott’s level of incredible musicianship and composition takes universal themes with a “man on the street” sensitivity and prospective, delivering 12 songs that equal the greatest songwriters of his generation.He began playing the piano at the age of 5 and moved on to the guitar shortly after. Influences include the best of British acts: Sting, The Beatles, Genesis, The Police as well as U2 and James Taylor.With years of experience behind him playing in different bands from working men’s clubs to the auditorium circuit, Marriott is poised to take Paper or Gold on the road with a band of exceptional talent to do justice to this new talent.
