Create your own friendquiz hereI have a vast plethora of interests, karaoke, writing and reading poetry, designing and sewing clothes, reading, dancing, classic cars, delving into our mental capabilities, playing pool, being outdoors, spending time with my family, singing and writing music, playing the piano, and I'm learning to play the guitar, washing my Trans Am, going to the beach and really listening to the waves (it reminds me of the shore breathing) , making my friends laugh and doing anything that may shock the life back into someone, and generally staying open to all possibilities that may enhance my life in even the smallest way.

I love meeting people of all backgrounds and interests, so I hate to box anyone into a category. There are times to go drink a few and play pool, and sing really bad karaoke, and there are times to spend reflecting on the grand scheme of this slowly burning ball of mass. This might require a different person. It's when you can be comfortable doing all this with the same person that is the sweet nirvana of completeness.

anything ranging from classical, instrumental, classic rock, techno, new age, some rap. I am the biggest "floydidian" that I know. Pink Floyd is a great band and Roger Waters is the man. I'm glad that pigs indeed learned to fly. I also love Journey, Reo, AC/DC, Foreigner, Styx, Prince, Alanis, Ravel, Mozart, Teena Marie, Ted Nugent, and the list goes on....

I can't find the time to actually sit and watch anything if it doesn't really hold my interest. I am addicted to "Cheech and Chong", I like some thrillers if they have a plausible storyline, I love Mel Brooks, and Monty Python, it just depends on my mood at the time.
I am addicted to LOST but that show is so freaky that not even my brain can grasp what's going on. I love Family Guy, Nip/Tuck, Rescue me, anything on HGTV, the Discovery and History channels, Grey's Anatomy, re-runs of the 70's show and Roseanne.
I started reading and writing at an early age and was deeply moved at the age of nine when I read James Fenimore Cooper's "the last of the mohican's", from then on, I have read many authors and I love the dark comedy of Shakespear, the trick is to read something and take it into perspective of the time it was written. I own several hundred books and they have been my best friends at low points of my life.

I suppose in the general picture, everyone has some of the same heroes in common. And they are all good role models for the most part. But I tend to look at things differently on a day to day basis. My kids can be my heroes when I see them do something completely unselfish. My husband is always my hero because he accepts me for who I am and doesn't censor me in any way. My father was the greatest man I ever knew and he will always be my hero. You don't have to wear a red cape and save the world to be a hero, just effect one person's life in a positive way and it's amazing. My best friend (KATHY) is my hero because she listens to me without a prejudiced opinion. I think the best heroes are the ones that don't even realize they are.
