The Rippah (Check STICKO for my DnB productions)

The Rippah began writing song lyrics from the tender age of 9, first singing cheesy pop tunes with his little sister and performing them in front of the family, which developed a growing confidence which he takes to the stage to this very day. Influenced by his big brother he started to listen to Jungle in the early 90's and wrote his first rap to the Helicopter tune. As the jungle scene died out he stopped writing until he discovered his passion for Hip Hop in the late 90's. He met label mates Inspekt'a'Rhyme and Marvel at school and from then on, he always knew he wanted to be an MC.
He started up the independent label SpitFire Rec. in 2002; First pressing up promos to sell at gigs. The label progressed further by putting out Conflix's EP on CD "Brainstorm" - this helped The Rippah learn more about the business side of running a label. Finally in 2003, SpitFire Rec. released a Double A-side 12" Single by R-I-P, entitled "Paper Chase / Angels & Devils" which taught him valuable lessons on how not to put a record out! Despite the problems faced by the release, it gained exceptionally good press in Magazines (such as Blues & Soul, Undercover & HHC to name a few.) and on the web.
Fastforward to 2006... Aged 21, this MC/Producer/CEO hopes to continue the good work and solidify SpitFire Rec.'s position in UK music scene.
