We are Houstons premier haunted attraction. We have been in operation for 9 years. Like most attractions, we started off very small with a small crew of haunters who worked very hard with very little.
When we started in 1999, we operated an outside attraction through a much wooded area which we called The Forest of Fear. Over the next few years we added our first covered attraction, The Castle of Doom and renamed our woods The Trail of Medieval Torture. In 2003 we opened The Sanitarium, a hospital themed attraction. This was also the last year at our original location. In 2005 we re-opened a revised Castle of Doom with a new Haunted Woods and moved The Sanitarium to a new location and partnered it with The Haunted Maze. Texas Chainsaw Maze was new in 2006...

3 scary as Hell attractions at one location... Covered waiting areas, absolutely no rain-outs...
Good evening, we are delighted you will be joining us this evening as you tour Houston's last standing medieval relic. This castle was the final resting place of some Europe's most brutal nobles in the 14th century. Rumor has it that these were not your normal run of the mill brutal nobles, but blood sucking torturus beings that ruled over the local peoples. In the late 15th century, Spain sent a small highly trained army to hunt these "nobles" down, ensuring that they would never return to Europe and reign in a new wave of terror. The Castle of Doom, as it has now become widely known, is part Halloween themed attraction/part museum so that our guests can relive some of the fright previous people endured. Also, finish the tour by seeing some of the same forest that the victims would sadly wander into before being snatched up to be the Castle's next main course.
Have you ever thought about what it might be like to be wrongly accused of a sickness and unfairly thrown into a sanitarium? Screamhouse entertainment presents The Sanitarium, a full on live action sequence that drops you into this horrifying sequence of events. Oh, and we almost forgot to mention, we turn off the lights, open up the patient cells and conveniently gave the orderlies the night off.
Once outside, you don't have to just go home. Remember the maze in the Shining? Ever think that it would be a little scary to get lost in a maze of your own? And what if we told you a crazy lunatic escaped from the sanitarium and wants you to play with his "friendly" little chainsaw? Introducing The Texas Chainsaw Maze!
