I like to party. I love to write and read. Music is a big part of my life. I love my friends, just spending time doing whatever. I used to live life to the fullest and seize every day like it was my last. I stopped doing that a couple of October's ago, but I plan to start living that way again. I used to love drama, but I've come to realize that, while it can be extremely entertaining at times, life is just so much simpler and easier without it. I used to stir the shit, but now I just sit back and eat popcorn while I watch most everyone else swim in it.
I would love to meet up-front, no-bullshit, real people who have common sense and yet still know how to have a good time. I enjoy people who are: individual, open-minded, outspoken, reflective, spontaneous, strong, intelligent, genuine est. The way I see it, you can be Mother Theresa or Hitler, and so long as you are real about who you are, you have my respect (doesn't necessarily mean I'll actually like you, lol). People who invoke the attitude of loving and not fighting are admirable. Don't get me wrong... I'm no hippie; I recognize that their are times to simply whoop some mean ass! But only when absolutely necessary. When it can be avoided, I believe that the energies of everyone are better utilized in having a good time. If everyone invested more time into bettering their situations and themselves than they do bitching about them, the whole world would be much farther along and much happier. Ok, I know I just went on a tangent and kind of off-topic, but I don't care. It's my profile so DEAL WITH IT!!! :PSo, who I'd like to meet... 1. God 2. Satan 3. And (of course) an Oompa-Loompa
I love music, and it is a huge part of my life. I mean what would life be without it? The absence of music would mean a large hole in peoples lives. What if the soundtracks from movies were left out, or the hymns chucked out of church? Music is the soundtrack to life, and without it, life would be much more boring. That being said, allow me to list some of my personal favorite artists, and I have a few. I have everything from Marilyn Manson to Mozart in my collection, so some of these might not seem to go together. lol

Not too big on television, but there are of course the diamonds in the ruff. Of course, I love classics such as South Park & The Simpsons. I enjoy CSI. I think that VH1 is the shit! I love all their themed count downs and special programs. "I Love The 80's" knocked my socks off! The Surreal Life is great. I can't think of much else at the moment. More will come to me later...
I have always been able to find both enrichment and enjoyment in literature, and plan to one day have a career based on producing some of my own. I used to get teased in grammar school for occasionally reading at recess! I have lagged on reading these past couple years, but I still find time for a novel every couple months and have began to reincorporate reading into my general routine. A few books I enjoy; some of them love:
BOOKS THAT ROCK
In The Forests of The Night & Demon In My View by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, Diary of a Drug Fiend by Aleister Crowley, Innocence by Jane Mendelsohn, The Hobbit & The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien, Sabriel by Garth Nix, The Long Hard Road Out of Hell [the best-selling autobiography by Marilyn Manson], Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause, and the Complete Tales & Poems of Edgar Allan Poe.
I have a few, and I will add more as they come to me. They will be listed in no particular order:
MY GRANDMOTHER,
for teaching me strength, the importance of common sense, and the value of respect, especially that type known as self-respect.
PHILOSOPHER SIR FRANCIS BACON,
for his devotion to progressive thinking, and determination in showing people how to break out of the box of popular thought to seek further for truth. Also for his contributions to psychology as best shown in his articles on human "idols."
PHILOSOPHER KNOWN AS 'VOLTAIRE',
for having so much influence that he is recognized as leader of the French Enlightenment; the Enlightenment was such a huge step in the progression of humanity in every way, that anyone as can be recognized as the primary figure that led their nation in that direction, deserves gratitude and respect. His fearlessness in questioning religion and pointing out flaws and injustices that plagued it, in a time when religion was law, are a testament to his strength of character and bravery. He was a soldier that fought for the liberation of oppressed freedoms.
EDGAR ALLAN POE,
for his uncompromising self-expression, no matter how unconventional or controversial his methods and subject matter. He is a true icon of individualism. He is also a pure, honest (if tormented) soul. He took his own darkest fears, secrets, and personal demons and gave them life for the eyes of all, in a way few have ever before or since achieved. He was a master of his craft and produced works that enriched and advanced the face of literature, all while being the manifestation of unabashed self-reflection. He was a personality as genius as it was deranged, and possessed a complexity that generated the mysterious allure that surrounded his image in life, and has survived all these years proceeding his death. And possibly most significantly, Poe is responsible for quite arguably the most perfect poem of all time.
MARILYN MANSON,
for his moves to test the boundaries and push the envelope of rock music, the rock-n-roll lifestyle, self-expression, freedom of speech, societal standards, pop culture, and religious dogma as far as possible, much in the same way as had his predecessor's Elvis Presley and Ozzy Osbourne. He put the world we live in with all it's flaws under a microscope with his work, to inspire those who listened to question things, set their own set of standards and morals, and cast away the rules of a flawed society, saying to fans: "I never said to be like me; I said to be yourself and make a difference." The expression and presentation of his revolutionary ideas was always done on his own terms, remaining unaffected by protests, slander, subjugation, exploitation / misrepresentation by the media, ridicule, and even threats on his life. The opposition only served to amuse and encourage, in that it served to validate many of his points and emphasize the observations documented in his unconventional music. Manson is a true rebel, musician, and artist in all senses of those titles. He is a modern torch-song singer, serving to illuminate the road less traveled, striking fear and hatred into the hearts of those with narrow minds, and leaving enrichment for those listening closely enough to take it.
JOHNNY DEPP,
for being unconventional, and yet retaining a certain level of accessibility that taps the potential audience that has validated his work by receiving it, and continues to grow in leaps and bounds. He is a master of the human emotional scale, both in his thorough understanding of it, and absolute expertise in evoking it from not only himself, but quiet often the audience. His mellow public persona is somehow as larger than life as any outrageous celebrity. His peculiar choice of roles both reflects his wonderful eccentricity, his diverse way of thinking, and need to constantly challenge himself. In a way he represents a sort of modern day Poe for the world of film, to me.Thats all for now
