About Me

♥ Hi! My name is Amanda and on March 22 of this year I married a man who could quite possibly be the most genuine man God has ever created. ♥ My husband’s name is Kenneth and he makes me happier than anyone on this Earth has ever come close to doing so. ♥ We met online and even though I understand some of you may not believe in this, Kenneth and I both insist it was “love at first type”. ♥ After meeting face to face, Kenneth moved from Missouri to Tennessee to be with me since all of my doctors, Medicare, etc… are here and he didn’t want to cause me any trouble with having to move and stuff. ♥ On July 27, 2007, Kenneth proposed to me on the end of a pier at Blue Bank Park on Reelfoot Lake. ♥ It was such an amazing day. ♥ From that day on seems like a blur to me now looking back on it. ♥ For Kenneth and I, all that counts now is that we’re married and we’re looking forward to the day when we can start our family. ♥

♥ I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis on December 17, 2001. ♥ Having MS hasn't ruined my life like I initially thought it would. ♥ It's taught me alot of things and has made me a stronger person. ♥ I had a recent stay in the hospital due to a MS Relapse that caused me to have seizures, hallucinations, mood swings, and extreme fatigue. ♥ During this time, my mom and Kenneth never left my side. ♥ He slept in bed with me a couple times, he slept in the freaking floor once, and finally he wrangled himself a cot. ♥ Nonetheless, he was there for me and that’s all that matters. ♥
→ If you or someone you know has MS, please feel free to contact me. I am always looking to meeting people who have this disease or are interested in learning more about it. ←..

My Interests

My interests include but are not limited to bowling, going to the movies, music, concerts, painting, writing, other artsy stuff, putt putt golf, traveling, dining out, meeting new people, and now that I've lost 180+lbs I LOVE to SHOP!!! Before having my gastric bypass surgery, I couldn't shop in actual stores. I had to shop in what I call "Big Mama Catalogs". Now I can actually shop in stores. Weightloss surgery saved my life and really helped my self esteem. I feel so much better now. Yay!!!

Music:

I have a love for classical and opera. I went to college on a vocal music scholarship and was taught to sing both classical and opera. Alot of the time, I didn't know what I was singing because it was in a different language but I loved the melodies and the passion behind the music. I loved being a powerhouse soprano and just belting out those high notes. God I miss those days.
I also love music from all genre's. I believe there is good music in them all. Some of my favorites are Finger Eleven, the Barenaked Ladies, My Chemical Romance, Johnny Taylor, Gym Class Heroes, Justin Timberlake, P!nk, Tenacious D, Fall Out Boy, Al Greene, Timbaland, Missy Elliott, The old Michael Jackson, 311, Metallica, Skynard, Etta James, Lily Allen, Colby Caliet, Pavarotti, Fergie, Norah Jones, Ben Folds, Queen, Weezer, Sublime, The Offspring, Sade, etc (The list could go on forever)... And I'll admit, I love Disco and Funk! I'm not ashamed of it. I love 70's music!!

Movies:

..

I'm basically into your typical chick flicks, comedies, and the occassional drama.. My favorite movie is 50 First Dates. I love Drew Barrymore! Other movies I like, besides all of my Drew Barrymore movies are Disturbia, Butterfly Effect, The Notebook, Shawshank Redemption, American History X, Bridge to Tarabithia, An Inconvenient Truth, The Jerk, School Ties, But I’m A Cheerleader, School of Rock, The Pick of Destiny, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Still Smoking, Up In Smoke, The Ringer, Taxi, Clerks II, Shallow Hal, Waterboy, Billy Madison, Anger Management, Napoleon Dynamite ,Duece Bigalow, Big Daddy, Hot Chicks, Big Mama's House 2, Garfield, The New Guy, Half Baked, The Wizard of Oz, Click, Little Miss Sunshine, Man of the House, My Bosses Daughter, American Pie, American Wedding, American Beauty, Hitch, Moulin Rouge, Mean Girls Beauty Shop, Fat Albert, Step Mom, White Chicks, Soul Plane, The Other Sister, Barbershop, Hocus Pocus, Drumline, 10 Things I Hate About You, Bring It On, etc... Also, I love the Simpsons...so, I have the first 9 seasons on DVD.

Television:

My usual weekly line up includes Who’s Wedding Is It Anyway?, Clean House, Ambush Makeover, How Do I Look?, A Wedding Story, Platinum Weddings, First Comes Love, Split Ends, Style Her Famous, Married Away, I Propose, The Look For Less, Ace of Cakes, The Insider, Inside Edition, That 70's Show, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Funniest Pets and People, Two and a Half Men, Ugly Betty, John Plus Kate Equals 8, Dancing with the Stars, Last Comic Standing, Wife Swap, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, House, Bones, Don't Forget the Lyrics, ER, Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Miami Ink, L.A.
