I recently retired myself from being an outdoor educator, and I have made the switch back into the science geek I once was. I am currently attending Physician Assistant school at the University of Colorado Health Science Center and will be studying for the next three years here in Aurora! And while Aurora isn't all that much to write home about, I am wicked close to dimsum, sushi, pho, and of course the mountains. I've enjoyed making the switch from teaching people how to tie figure eight knots to actually heading out on wknds for my own enjoyment, knowing that someday soon I will be able to look someone in the eye with compassion and possess the means to make a difference.Hopefully i can find a climbing partner soon (mine is headed into the airforce!) so that the wknd trad expeditions can continue! But for now, I am pretty immersed in human anatomy classes and dissection as well as an ever mounting pile of debt, 2 kitties who love that I'm home, and there's a girl in the picture so right now life is moving forward at a faster clip than i can keep track of!My quote of this update "What makes two people friends is not that they have the same point of view on a given subject, but rather that they find the given subject worthy of discussion.
