IN MY PANTS!!!! -an entry by Corie RobeSo here's a little about me. I'm 22. i have a wonderful life. I'm a member of the United States Air Force. I've been through hard times that have shaped and molded my life. I've lost people who were supposed to be there always and I have had things happen to me that were pretty f'ed up. But what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. I am definately a no drama person. You can usually see me sportin my hata Blockas. I hate home wreckers!!!!!!! I have friends that are the best and some that only care about themselves. I have family that's there for me. I have family that's not there for me. I'm one of those people that wears their heart on their sleeve. I've been critisized alot for that. But hey i'm true to myself. I'm a good friend that will always have everyones back. I love to dance and i'm good at it. I want someone who will be there for me and not argue about the small stuff. I want to be loved unconditionaly and i want more than anything just to be respected. I've grown alot as a person in the past few years. I need someone that is gonna worry about us and not just them. I need someone who will dance with me and make me feel like i belong in their arms, someone who makes me feel safe when i'm scared and that makes me happy. Someone that will take care of me when i'm sick. Most of all i want someone that can make me LAUGH!! I want to grow old with someone funny! When looks fade and kids grow old, houses are bought and sold, time passes and flies by i still want life to make me high. I want to be in a rocking chair when im 72 on the front porch with my sides still hurting because i'm laughing so hard. I've realized that some hopes and dreams are just that. Hopes and dreams. Some you only get tempted with and werent supposed to be yours in the first place and some you have to fight for. I played volleyball for a local junior college on a full ride. Alot of people say that i turn into a beast when i get a hold of a volleyball. It's what i love. I'm not myself if i can't make you realize you can't return my serve. I want to be the person that gets to that ball that's just out of reach and make that amazing save no one expected. I usually have a smile on my face and butterflies in my stomach after that set i just made gets smashed into that perfect spike into someones face. I want people to realize. I don't care what you think of me today tomorrow or next week. The only oppinion that matters is mine of myself in the end. I will protect anyone i truly care about ask my friends. My father taught me to give someone the shirt off your back even if you can't afford it. I am the kind of person that will walk around a pool hall with a pool stick singing al green to my p.i.c. (partner in crime). I love good funk, blues, rock, soul, country, classic rock, and old rap, none of this new stuff with nothing in it but stolen beats. Anything with a funky bass run suits me just fine.I love to dance. My step father is a musician so if there's a bar in N.C. I havn't heard of i'd be surprised. I have lots of friends who are in the music scene. Some you've heard of and some you havn't. I've had the pleasure of being able to meet people alot of people havn't.
I live, love, laugh, and cry, and dance like today is the last because i've learned the best ones go first and i damn sure aint gonna be the last. I'm gonna fight evil with good and pick the battles that really matter so Drama gets checked at the door. Don't step if you can't take. I'm a proud American and that's all that i am. I encourage other ppl to be the same. Not Mexican, Black, Asian, or White. AMERICAN!!
