About Me

I'm your average, everyday post grad who has no idea how to get into a career....I've loved having all the important decisions made for me over the last 21 years of my life, yet still having all the freedom to have fun....Now I'm supposed to be sensible and get a proper job, but I'm going to put it off as long as possible :)
I'm going to go travelling, mainly because I figure its the best way to get out of having to do sensible things like settle into a career etc....fingers crossed I can get off my arse and actually organise some plane flights, otherwise my travels aren't going to take me very far.....there's something really appealing about being lazy!
I'm currently working at my local cinema to raise abit of cash for my travels....and Drink :) Its boring work but I've met an awesome group of friends there...
...Look at what we got up to in March....
...and Here's just a sample of the fun we had in April '06

My Interests

The best Halloween party ever:

Basically having fun in life....I always question what friends are and if I have any true ones, but most of the time I come to the conclusion that I do and spend as much time as possible with them....usually involving nights out with alcohol(great friend he is!)...don't get me wrong, I do other things too :)

I'm vaguely creative....I don't claim to be a great artist or anything, I'm one of those people who has great imaginative ideas, but can never put them down on paper! I hope to be able to use this vague interest in my future career...but I reckon I'll just get stuck in a 9-5 job and spend a large portion of my life day-dreaming....but hey...day-dreamings fun :)

I also like to play football (when I'm not suffering from a knee injury!), and was part of the sunday league team Gaumont Palace FC last season...a great bunch of lads, we had a great season, and as a result a great night out was had by all for our 'End of seaon meal'!

I'd like to meet:

A talking Lion - I'd really like to know what they think about all day!

It'd also be really interesting to know if they ever get bored of just eating raw meat...wonder what would happen if someone introduced them to the delights of salt and pepper....or maybe even Ketchup...mmmm...Keeettchuuuppp :) hehe
Imagine meeting a lion who is rebelling against society and has become a vegetarian...how funny would that be?!?!

To be honest, it doesn't have to be a lion....a talking version of any animal would be just as good...or maybe even a plant, what would that be like?!...Sorry, I'm rambling, I'll stop now :)

Music:

My first major band were The Presidents Of The United States Of America, and they will always be loved, but I've now moved on to Indie Rock, with fond memories of 'Mr Brightside'(The Killers), 'I Predict a Riot'(Kaiser Chiefs), 'Apply Some Pressure'(Maximo Park), 'Reason Is Treason'(Kasabian), and many more...too many to mention!

If I'm being honest though, I have no major hate of any type of music, which is a bit of a trait of mine...I see no reason to hate anything (except life on the odd occasion when I think its out to get me!!), so I'm pretty easy to please!

Movies:

I used to work at a cinema until Nov 5th...

...you work it out!

...Thats if you call it work!

Watch this, it made me Laugh....It's called "Thats Lucky" By popular demand...here's "Thats Lucky 2"...not quite as good as the first, but still worth a look! Here's some of Ricky Gervais's animated monkey news to keep you occupied!

Television:

Love it....'nough said!!!....
.....As All my friends will know!!

Books:

The Da Vinci Code was awesome....although I think I believed it a little too much!

The Northern Lights Trilogy is a great read

The Lord of the Rings Series is hard going but so satisfying to finish, and great to compare to the films....which by the way, I love! Watched all three extended versions in one day once....probably the most well spent time I had whilst at Uni!!!

As a child I loved the Redwall series of books.

Heroes:

Myself as a Child....unfortunately not myself now.
