Milena PafundiHailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, 25-year-old Milena has been involved in the visual arts scene since 2002. While studying Film at FUC she enlisted an audiovisual project called Tekhnë (www.tekhne-v.com.ar), alongside Pablo Denegri and Enrique Casal, where she started developing her live video mixing skills.Milena’s vj menu proposes a blend of lo-fi textured loops, urban landscapes and phantasmagoric-abstract-dark backgrounds filled with both organic and digital images. Her live performances in Buenos Aires include festivals, events and club venues such as Pacha, Club Minimo @ Niceto Club, Creamfields, Micro MUTEK, Southfest, Cocoliche and Fuga Jurasica.Relocated in Berlin since January 2007, Milena continues developing her video-art projects as well as her vj activity. Up to date she’s performed at Heitmatmelodies parties as a resident in Essen and Dortmund, also in Harry Klein (Münich), at Nff Club (Bremen), Karlsruhe and Koln, among other cities.Her visual performances include playing alongside such artists as Deadbeat, Akufen, Someone Else, Troy Pierce, Matthew Dear and fellow Argentineans Violett, EnriQ, Ernesto Ferreyra, Simbad, Carlos Alfonsin, Seph and Gurtz.www.tekhne-v.com.arwww.myspace.com/milenawalks
