This video is a tribute to David Foster Wallace, an amazing literary genius who left us on September 12, 2008 at age 46. He is one of my great influences, and if you watch this you will know why. (You may have to pause the music to the left to hear the audio.)
Here is a video of one of my recent finds--Australian singer Missy Higgins--doing her song "Steer" filmed in my home state of California! I have seen her live several times recently and she is an incredibly talented singer, writer and performer. (You may have to pause the song to the left to hear this video properly.)
Here is a Peter Greenaway early short film from the 1970s, which is a great satire on all of the atrocities in South African prisons during this time (many political prisoners perished, officially--according to the goverment, by "falling out of windows.") You may have to pause the music button to the left to hear the soundtrack fully:
