Percussion has been running as one of Nottingham's top underground club nights since the end of 2002. Live drummers accompany the DJs to give the night a unique twist creating a live and interactive carnival atmosphere on the dancefloor.
Live bands have become an integral part of the Percussion experience, hosting international and local bands such as Antibalas, Breakestra, Bison, Grain, Urbanspacelab and more.
The music policy is 'If you can dance to it, we play it.' The eclectic mix of music allows everyone to find something they like. At a Percussion event you will be exposed to breaking new music as well as hearing stone cold classics and hidden gems from all musical genres.
The members of Percussion are Ben Rose from the Alley Cafe; Ravi Subramanian, an ageing Soul/Funk/Eclectic DJ; Charlie who spins soulful House/Nu-Jazz/Latin Groove and Samyouwell who plays anything he can squeeze into the mix. Live Percussion comes from our very own Zacharia and the Pants on Fire Ensemble...

Percussion back at the Blueprint
