Fortunately there are few artists who keep it real and manage to produce definitive Hip-Hop music, such as F.A.B.I.D.Family, Art, Brotherhood, Integrity, and Devotion, is the acronym behind the answer to Hip-Hop..s question of what can be done to bring back raw street intelligence. Straight out of East New York, F.A.B.I.D. is comprised of The Honorable H. Stax, the lyrical genius on the mic and master mind Mike Rone a.k.a. Black Man on Deck on production.Stax contributes gritty intellectual rhymes which have gained him recognition among his peers as one reminiscent of a new age Rakim. Staxs.. lyrics reflect on real life confrontations not only by aspect but through his own personal experiences with a poetic tongue that flows in a hard body freestyle rhythm. This type of music will take you places, whether it..s some place you have all ready been, some where you want to go or a place you never want to be; making it easy to relate.Mike Rone, the producer, was musically mentored by world renowned DJ Premier of Gangstarr. He also credits artists such as Premier with the evolution of F.A.B.I.D.s.. sound. Although similar in influence, the sound of the urban duo is unique and innovative. Mike Rones.. keen sense of creativity in choosing beats, tracks and melodies coupled with the conscious words and creative imagery of H. Stax provide listeners food for thought and heartfelt rhythm and beats for the ladies.Formed in the mid 90..s F.A.B.I.D...s phat beats, hot tracks and fiery lyrics have them destined for greatness. Tommy Boy Records recognized the talent in the dynamic duo and signed the group in 1998. They were set to release their debut album, but unfortunately was set back when the label discontinued operation. Although F.A.B.I.Ds.. debut was deferred, the have refused to be deterred and have continued to create great music and entertain party goers at various venues.Down but not out, F.A.B.I.D. has continued to gain street recognition along with gaining knowledge and business skills from their Gangstarr foundation. F.A.B.I.D. has also achieved veteran status as artist in their own right. Gracing the same stage as artists such as: Busta Rhymes, Wyclef Jean, and M.O.P. who are among Hip Hops.. elite FABID plans to follow suit and give Hip-Hop fans what they..ve been missing.
