Aren’t you sick and tired of reading biographies that claim you’re witnessing the release of the most groundbreaking record of the past decade? A true masterpiece that will stand the test of time… A highly anticipated album filled with intense, razor sharp & crushing riffs, killer hooks, ultra-heavy breakdowns and passionate vocals, carefully crafted by the hardest working band in the underground scene…
Let’s skip the pretentious PR-talk and the obnoxious shoving-a-band/album-down-your-throat-part. UNBREAKABLE is not the band described above. They're just a bunch of Belgian hardcorekids who wanted their band to sound like a mix of Uniform Choice, Insted, Youth Of Today and Turning Point, and who felt the urge to voice their opinion about certain social issues, values such as straight edge and vegetarianism and everyday life through the music they love…
Right about now you’re probably wondering who these guys are and which rock they crawled under from… Well, UNBREAKABLE was founded late 2005 / early 2006 when Break And Enter-guitarist Davy Prikken started jamming with ex-Silence Before Storm-members Timmy (guitars) and Joey (drums) Steyls. Shortly hereafter, they recruited bass player Peter Vande Weyer and vocalist Tim Rollé, who previously played together in Kombat and Last Straw.
A bunch of high fives and stagedives later, in January 2007 to be exact, UNBREAKABLE laid down six tracks at Studio 195 for a demo tape. Another five songs were recorded at the very same studio exactly one year later for their self-titled debut-7†on Conformity Records, which also came out as a cd (also including the demotracks). The cover-art of the album was done by graphic artist Craig Holloway, who also designed the latest Agnostic Front-record ‘Warriors’.
In August 2008 guitarist Davy Prikken left the band, due to personal reasons and was replaced by Roy Jeunen. Unbreakable are currently writing new material.
