Lord of flies is one person project of jeszu, guitar player of former Warsaw band called Funga which penetrated the unknown abyss of the guitar music. The beginnings of LoF come from year 1999, when he started his adventure with the computer as Bosluis Basters, sampling and mixing Mogwai, Critters Buggin, Tortoise with music from computer games. Following his own way he managed to work out his own individual recognized tone. He treats sound very freely, frequently and densely destructing it. His approach to creation is colored with childrens naivety. LoF`s productions are sharp digital punch, broken rhythms but also calm and quiet sound spaces, randomly pulsing with its internal arrhythmic patterns. His progressive couple copies records are issued in the seclusion of the home studio anderdebed. LoF made some performances during Warsaw Electronic Festival 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. He can be heard on the first festival album - Samplicity one step further - where hes remixing: British performer Tonne or Polish Seed; and together with Jarek Grzesica as SEND/RECV on WEF 2007 Compilation - Laptops Make History. As a winner of the competition organized by audition Future Shock and portal Syntezatory.pl he is cooperating with the Future Shocks and WEF scene, forming e.g. the electronic ensemble Gravity Collective and together with Seed Project - SEND/RECV.
