~BACK TO BLACK~
Da Black Room (hosted by Caese of 427 North) is where everyone is entitled to an opinion; that is, one's opinion does not have to be agreed with but it must be respected. The show is characterized by a live recorded interview which gives Toronto Hip-Hop artists a place to openly speak their mind.
~ARTIST ACCOMODATION~
Upon arriving at Da Black Room, featured artist(s) will receive an overview of the show and will be familiarized with all business partners by the host (Caese of 427 North). Also, artists will be informed about the rules and guidelines of Da Black Room.
~WHAT'S NEXT?!?~
The artist(s) arrive on set of the show where they will be introduced to the director, Wallholder
, and the camera operator, Ainsley Miller of Promilia Media .
(1) The director will give featured guest-artists a briefing on camera positioning and conduct (e.g., where to keep one's hands, focus one's eyes, etc.) This is mandatory in order to ensure a favourable experience for viewers of Da Black Room.
(2) Filming will commence only after the artist has a solid overstanding of Da Black Room and the functions therein. The well-informed/prepared artist will then be asked a series of 15-20 questions ("Da Black Inquiry"). This will consist of a variety of general and researched questions.
(3) After "Da Black Inquiry" segment of the show, featured artists/guests will have the opportunity to participate in a freestyle session to promote their musical product(s) and/or skills. This segment of Da Black Room will allow artists up to 10 minutes in duration.
(4) Closing words/"Da Black Vent" by the host of Da Black Room, Caese of 427 North. Artists at this time will be given the chance to give vent to any issues, shortcomings, and/or challenges perceived within the realm of hip-hop. STAY TUNED!
