About Me

Texas born Danny Safady has had a passion for filmmaking as far back as he can remember. Through his journey as a football player, all the way through his modeling career in Los Angeles, Danny has always had a career in film in mind. During his directorial debut on Miss Issa’s, “Stay Up” music video hit, as seen on BET, MUN2, Yahoo Launch, and various other nationwide retailers; he realized that being a director is his calling. Danny isn’t sure what his future in film has in store, however, he is sure that whatever he does he will be inspiring people.Initially, football was Danny’s first passion; he believes it is this sport that has taught him the importance of teamwork and discipline. Danny says, “I love the unity of a production and the collective artistic expression that it brings.” In 1998, he made his way to Dallas, Texas to study at the Art Institute of Dallas. At the Art Institute, he improved his visual skills and discovered editing. After graduating in 2000 he left Dallas and moved to Los Angeles. While in California, he pursued a number of things like, modeling and acting, although, filmmaking was what came most naturally.Subsequently, Danny has a few projects currently in the works and under his belt. In 2006, he directed Issa’s hit music video, “Stay Up”. He is currently working on numerous music videos, short films, and documentaries. Danny has many talents when it comes to filmmaking. He has the ability to direct, produce, edit, storyboard and design; it is these attributes that enable him to be a successful filmmaker.Finally, when asked what he loves most about filmmaking Danny says, “… it allows you to have your hands in everything. I enjoy enlightening and moving people through the power of film and video. I like to always have a spiritual message in my projects. It is important to show that even the most dark and unlikely places are full of light. We just have to pay attention and be present. “ He would like to bring all of these qualities and messages through his directorial work on music videos, commercials, and short/feature films. Danny really enjoys the change that films can inspire in people. He believes that it is a universal language that transcends all cultures. Danny truly is a visual communicatorIn summary, Danny believes that all of his life’s experiences have pointed him in the direction of film directing. As his current projects evolve, and his future projects come to fruition, he is sure to leave his mark on the film industry. Danny looks most forward to the people he will meet along the way, he says, “It takes many people to complete a project and that is an amazing journey and I love the experience.”.. Mediajestic
