Born in Havana Cuba, Gus Caveda has been writing and producing music for over 25 years. He currently lives in Miami Florida where he produces music for TV and Film projects.
In 1986 together with 3 other local musicians, Gus helped establish the freestyle music group called "Erotic Exotic". The band was signed in 1987 to Atlantic Records and released several successful dance singles. In 1991 Gus joined toured with Epic recording Artist Nuclear Valdez. After a year of performing live Gus aimed his sites on writing for other Artists. He has produced several independent Artists ranging in styles from Rock to Christian country music.
Gus has been a member of BMI since 1985 and has had songs published by EMI Screen Gems, Joeyboy Publishing, AMG and several other independent companies. He has also had several songs placed on the CW Network, ABC Kids and on the Canadian TV show "Crashed Ice" just to mention a few.
As a performer Gus plays locally sometimes with his old band mates from Erotic Exotic, and recently he put together a set of some of the best pop & soul cover tunes which he performs regularly.As to not wanting to leave any music ventures untouched, Gus also DJ's, bringing his experience of recognizing what audiences want to parties and special events.
