I'm from Belgium and I'm an astrophysicist or more precisely now a space plasma physicist. I like to think of me as open-minded and I like to talk with mostly everyone about every subject. Yet most of my friends here relate in some way to the list of my favourite activities. Some people I met probably know me best as Lams (my nickname) but I kept my real first name here on myspace (for some unknown reason)
I'm here to make new friends from all over the world and to talk to people I would never meet otherwise. Myspace also allows me to keep in touch with some of my convention friends.
I've also added some celebrities who enjoy to speak to their fans and keep them up-to-date with what's going on in their career. This includes some favourite actors/actresses mainly from TV series but also some favourite bands like The Gathering. Anneke is my favourite singer and René is my favourite guitarist. Very sad Anneke is leaving the band soon but on the positive side, I will have two great bands to follow now :)I sometimes add new bands that I had never heard about but I receive too much requests to listen to all their music, so don't take it the wrong way if I don't add you, it's just that I have no time to listen or sometimes I don't like the music either...(I'm not too much into electro and I don't like rap or hip-hop so please don't request me). Definitely my favourite "myspace artist" is Maria Yuriko and I strongly suggest you to visit planet Yuriko by clicking on the beautiful eyes above ;) If you like angelic voices and beautiful melodies, you'll love Maria ! I also recently found Eliza Lumley who performs incredibly beautiful covers of Radiohead. I love to travel, my favourite places in the world so far are Chile and San Francisco. I'd love to go back to South America. I also would love to go to Asia where I've never been to so far. In the last few years, I've visited a few eastern countries and like them a lot.
If you are interested in astronomy, I post now and then what I call astro news bulletins where I try to explain some recent discoveries in astronomy or advertise some upcoming astronomical events. Add me as a friend if you want to read them lol. Well, actually, you can read most of them in my blog where I keep them after the bulletins are deleted.
