About Me

mike and davey met at a suburban house party in the summer of 2004, inner western sydney (yeeha)..mike looked like some sort of lost rocknroll soul (still does) davey the ghost of a handsome schemie (aye, that's right) over some cheap wine, jatz and a conversation that almost entirely revolved around (the younger) rod stewart, the boys decided to get together and dust off the guitars...so , once a week in lala land - late at night when kiddles had all bedded down - they picked and strummed, sang and drank tea , beer , wine or whatever was going...made susie happy sometimes and annoyed her others..made outlandish claims, stupid promises and then some songs, got a sound and finally a name...every now and again jamie and martin would join in to help create more noise and make it all a little rawk and a lotta roll (ye can hear them on two of the tracks on this here page!!).. it was then decided that the world was ready for moleskin..since making the decision ,moleskin have played in barns and churches, at folk festivals and in school halls and yards, on big stages in front of little people and in pubs were you couldn't move for bodies..and yes, it was a small pub - we have played alongside german cabaret acts, shetland fiddlers, emo pretenders, boyhood heroes and latino supremos (take a bow mr. monasterio) country crooners and accordian playing whizkids..insert here something 'bout variety , spice and life..so, sit back, add, download, listen, comment do all those crazy myspace things and if you ever have the chance come and check us out..in the flesh..and if we ever get off our arses and outta here..we will do likewise. percy's big fat bottom...

new addition
