Profile GeneratorAndreas Aaltonen born 1979 in Stockholm /Sweden
First LP Bought aged 4: Vivaldi – Four Seasons
Aged 10 he fell in love with electronic music after watching a Jean Michel Jarre live concert, and
through the synth gang in school he got in touch with the sounds of Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Front 242 etc.
At the age of ten he first heard breakbeats and uk hardcore at a pirate radio station and got hooked on the likes of Prodigy and Acen, along with the 303 sounds of acidhouse. 1993 Andreas sold his Nintendo and bought his first dj mixer, a crappy Gemini.
At this time the rave thing was emerging in Sweden and some years later in 1994 Andreas became a regular in the Stockholm raves scene, as a partykid, dj & promoter.
In the year 2000, inspired by both oldskool electro/freestyle as well as cheesy italian 80ies discoteca he starded "Clear." Stockholms first eclectic technoclub playing old italo disco, electro, ghettotech, acid house and techno, all in the same venue and night.
Today Andreas can be spotted at all the best clubs and parties in Stockholm, both behind the wheels of steel and on the dancefloors.
In 2003 Andreas co founded the design company DFTS
www.dontfeedtheswedes.se focusing on exhibition architecture and product design, with lots of exhibitions and press in booth Sweden and Japan DFTS is one of the brightest stars of the Swedish young up-and-coming design companies.
