About Me

Create or get your
very own MySpace LayoutsFormed in 2006, Random Tragedy began as many failed attempts from vocalist/guitarist Steve L. and bassist Brian to contact the vocalist/guitarist Brian knew as Steve H. from a past project, Hydroplasmic Petting Zoo. Steve H. had a problem called a job and took forever to get back to them.
Finally, in mid-April of 2006, following a rockin' acoustic set at the Pratt Community College Show Choir and Music Event, Brian got ahold of Steve H. and Steve H. acquiesced to the request that he check out what this duo was doing.
So.... they rocked out with various drummers and broke up for a little bit. Wellllllllllll, they got back together later. Steve and Brian found JJ Rupe, this bad-izass drummer, who will go down in history as Pratt's bad-izass drummer.
And at the moment, we are re-recording the Random Tragedy Demo, and adding a few new songs... of course, we have "Ripe," "What Is What," "Crucify," "Burning Memories," and "Around Again." After those five, however, we have developed a song called "For the Lost," and a song called "Not In Love," and.... possibly a couple more? I dont know. Stay tuned, bitches.
And of course, without references... who would go to see a band? Surely not us! What can be said about this band that hasn't already been said? Here are some quotes from around the area:
"Dude, these guys friggin ROCK!"-- God. (I know, I spoke with him on the phone earlier)
"It make me happy to hear band play music that have, uh, how do you say... substance to it"--Gandhi.
"Good is music of Pratt kids, mmhmmm. Like, I do, to hear from them music, mmhmmm"-- Yoda.
