The Du Lang band/duo was formed in Xiasha back in 2005. Writing and performing original songs, they have a unique sound due to the very different musical backgrounds of the founding members. Sometime actress and model,Ye Ru Chen (Cissy) is the singer. A finalist in last year's "Supergirl" competition, she has a very strong voice sounding like a cross betweem Wong Faye and Sun Yan-Zi. The other half of the band is Brec Starhawk on guitar, drums and bass programming and keyboards. He was the lead guitar player for the popular Brazilian rock band "Made In Brazil" before moving to Europe and playing with the short-lived but legendary Swedish metal band "CY-1" and cites Gary Moore,Jerry Cantrell and Eddie Van Halen as his main influences. For live performances, Zhu Chun Hang (Joe) plays guitar and operates the MIDI Sequencer.
