At one point in time, I made entirely programmed music. Next, I tried writing songs that I could play by myself if I were to ever play a solo show. Then I got pretty good at recording so I wrote songs with multiple layers. Once I got that down, I started making songs that had programmed parts as well as real instruments. Time went by, and I got pretty comfortable with my way of going about making music. It was time to start having some real fun. Not too long ago, I made it my mission to write the saddest song possible. That has been an ongoing process, as I keep writing terribly sad-sounding songs. Next, I set out to write songs that would challenge my mind and my hands, and that became my third EP. More recently, really goofy and happy songs have been finding their way into my mind. All in all, no matter what kinds of songs I write and record, I embrace them all under this name.
I love this music. I love writing it, I love recording it, I love listening to it, I love thinking about it. But most of all, I love showing it to people. Thank you for listening to it, and thank you ten times more if you listen to it again. I would love to know what you think of it, so please feel free to leave a comment on this page with your thoughts. Heck, I'm showing you mine!
Be in touch, and thank you again- for reading, listening, and writing.
Sincerely,
Dylan
