Music:

Rather than list my favorite bands like every other gaf does on this website...I'll keep it plain and simple: Anything PUNK, from straight up to old/new school to emo to hardcore. If it's loud and in your face, chances are I love it. Currently, my favs are Bayside, Much the Same, Bigwig, Comeback Kid, the Descendents, Ryan's Hope, Champion, and A Wilhelm Scream. OSKER could be the greatest band EVER, unfortunately they're done so RIP. There's nothing like some straight edge, positive hardcore for ya early in the morn to help the wake up process. I hate to admit this, but Cobra Starship is one nasty guilty pleasure of mine too.

Movies:

Anything FUNNY or SCARY and under 2 hours. I have a very short attention span. Super Troopers is the best movie ever. Superbad and Juno are right up there on top of the list. Also, any movie that makes you think...like those movies you watch, and you spend the next five hours discussing, and still have no clue WTF you just watched. I LOVE THOSE MOVIES. And yes, I just abbreviated "What the Fuck".

Television:

The city of Newport Beach rocks...fo' shizzie. Jack Bauer is the man. I'm embarassed to admit that I actually watch and enjoy The Hills. The Simpsons and The Family Guy could be two of the best shows EVER. Recently, I've gotten addicted to a crappy CW show about rich, snobby upper east siders...can you guess what show this is??? It's the east coast version of the OC. Although, the only show I need for the rest of my life is Seinfeld...those reruns never get old. Video games are preferred...I'm a huge dork.

Books:

CONFESSIONS OF AN ECONOMIC HIT MAN and THE SECRET HISTORY OF THE AMERICAN EMPIRE, which are both by John Perkins, will make you say "God Bless America". Chuck Palahniuk just moved up to the top of my list. He's a great author of some F-ED up stories (Lullaby, Diary, Choke, Haunted, Survivor, Invisible Monsters). Check him out. On a side note, if you're like me and you like to see just how FUCKED UP Bush's occupation of Iraq is...then read "Babylon by Bus" by Ray Lemoine and Jeff Neuman. That'll open your eyes to the GREAT effort our government has put into Iraq, or lack there of. Hegemony or Survival by Noam Chomsky. I've also read almost every book by Michael Crichton and all of Dan Brown's work. All of James Rollin's Sigma Force Books. Darkly Dreaming Dexter, Dearly Devoted Dexter, and Dexter in the Dark...all by Jeff Lindsay. Let's just say I like to read. Especially when I find an author I like. The Perks of Being a Wallflower...great book by Steven Chobsky for the "emo" kid in all of us. I highly recommend it. Less Than Zero is a similar book that's great. The Black Dahlia was amazing, but do yourself a favor and DO NOT see the movie...it ruined a great book.I'm always looking for something new. Hit me up with advice.

Heroes:

Anyone that can appreciate a good SIDE-WALKER...Anyone with balls to wear short jean shorts...Anyone willing to stand up for what they believe in...
