The Random Device was formed two years ago by bassist Lyndon Schiewe and drummer Lorne Cavanagh. With the use samples and synths, they produce a spacious yet raw sound. They have toured western Canada and make a few local appearances throughout the year. So far, the band has released an EP CDR (2007) and have a video for the song 'Change' co-produced with filmmaker Graeme Froese. They are currently finishing their first full length recording which will be available online, and as a special edition, handmade CDR.
