What started out as Jason and Adam getting together creating music back in 2005 turned into, more or less, "Hey, this sounds good, let's start a band and do this seriously." Adam had already been playing music with his brother, Trent. They were Texas boys raised up on the soul-wrenching blues sound of Stevie Ray and Jimi Hendrix, and my, my, my, could those boys play. When Jason was born, the doctor announced he would be a drummer after listening to his heartbeat. However, everyone forgot until he picked up some drum sticks at 5 years old and begged his mom for a drum kit.. That rhythm was born down deep in his heart.There came a time in 2007 when Adam was free to do what he wanted to do -play music. Jason was always ready to play, so they decided to pursue it full-force, and for the summer tried tracking down a bass player to no avail, putting together songs, planning things out.... and the time slipped away ...
The bassist seemed elusive. Jason joined another band (or two), playing his heart out every night, but was never fully happy with where he was at. Adam sat in on a few songs with Houston's Mean Gene Kelton and the Diehards, (along with recording songs seemingly every single day). It seemed that bass player would never come along. The kids lost a little focus, and became a bit jaded... but, aha! Here comes our mystery man.... Suddenly, out of the blue, in came Brandon Masden, a little rhythm gypsy from Dallas, answering an ad from way back. Things pretty much clicked, and here they are today ... exciting things, boys and girls, are about to ensue .......... Keep checking back over the next few weeks.
