MASSE MEMOIRE

About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !
Putting the imagination of Sio B baas together with the musical knowledge and skills of Olivier Tison, the Masse/Memoire project is an adventure in undiscovered sonic and rhythmic territories, melting across-the-board musical influences together. Their first release, the elegant and futuristic EP "Mouvements dans l' Espace Negatif" on Lumina Records, has received numerous accolades for its originality and production values.Olivier Tison is a record producer, sound technician and composer with eclectic tastes and a broad musical vision, embracing deep house, funk, jazz and electronica. Between 2000 and 2003 Olivier was the resident DJ and promoter for the weekly One World Live night at the Notting Hill Arts Club in partnership with BBC Radio One. As a producer, under the Oli & Ola moniker, he is responsible for the dancefloor bomb "Just a little bit of jazz" as playlisted by Doc Martin, DJulz, Felix Da Housecat, Jay Hannan, Basement Jaxx...Tony Milon, aka Sio B baas, is a DJ and composer who deejays as comfortably in a deep, soulful techno-funk tip than in more ambient and various atmospheric electronic music. With a bursting imagination inspired by astronomy, fantasy and sci-fi books as well as nature, he creates the core component of the Masse/Memoire sound by inventing exciting storyboards that set up the scene for music composition. With an exacerbate sense of detail, Sio is always a hard challenger in the production process, picturing new sounds and putting them in context.
