"Big Bad Rocket Of Love"

About Me

Truly a work in progress...Wanna know? Just ask. I truly look with wide-open eyes and I'm an "open-book"... This is not the most interesting or intriguing intro, but at least it's the truth...

My Interests

Music, music, and...um...music (have played professionally). As a graduate of fine arts, I also have a line of crafts called 'Creepygoods' in stores and a line of furniture called 'Madfurnishings' in galleries. I indulge my passions for everything creative. I like to spend a lot of time in my studio, but unfortunately that hasn't been happening much lately. Aside from my artistic endeavors, I pretty much enjoy anything and everything--especially something new, adventurous, daring, death-defying, loud, surrealistic and fun! Oh...and traveling is pretty big on my agenda (anybody up for a weekend in Vegas or San Fran?)! Does anybody really read this sh*t? Does anybody really care?

I'd like to meet:

People who are interesting, fun, CREATIVE, professional, OPEN-MINDED, fun, INTELLIGENT, ambitious, fun, happy, considerate, fun, confident (not arrogant), HONEST and fun (did I mention fun already?). Oh...and you must have a pulse. HA! I truly enjoy the company of people who have a fine appreciation (or at least respect) for the arts...ALL arts! Most importantly, you must truly practice human awareness and kindness. I cannot tolerate racist people and people who have no consideration and/or patience for OTHER PEOPLE'S DIFFERENCES. We all have something to contribute to this pebble we call earth and if you're not doing your part, then you need to get the hell off this planet! You need to have MANNERS!!!!!!!!! Is that too much of a request these days?

Music:

There's not enough room here for me to list all the music that matters...BUT Ray Charles said it best: "There are only two kinds of music in this world--good and bad."

Movies:

Man, there are way too many to name....but for starters, let's say: Animal House, Bad Boys, Blade (all 3), King Of New York, Naked Lunch, Anything Monty Python, The Cell, Clockwork Orange, Brazil, 12 Monkeys, Boondock Saints, Leaving Las Vegas, Matrix (all of them), Pulp Fiction, Sleepy Hollow (actually, ANYTHING directed by Tim Burton), Say Anything, State of Grace, The Professional, Swingers, Taxi Driver, The Crow, Texas Chain Saw Massacre (the original), Wrong Turn, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, Seven, Goodfellas, Casino, Love Actually, Mallrats...and on and on and on...and I love old, classic films.

Television:

Anything on The History Channel, A&E, TLC, PBS, Bravo, The Discovery Channel, VH1, ESPN (1 & 2), Cartoon Network (Adult Swim rocks!), Nickelodeon, TV Land, AMC, Turner Classic Movies....blah, blah, blah,...

Books:

Aw hell, there's too many to name here as well. I'm a closet book whore (well, not anymore now that I just admitted it!). I have to stay away from the 'Borders' and 'Barnes & Nobles' of this world because I spend way too much money in those places!

Heroes:

My parents (the most unbelievable human beings I know), my sisters (they're goddesses), my instincts (if you can't trust yourself, then who can you trust?), and anyone who has the integrity to make a difference in this world for all the right reasons.

The Battle Of Nevermore--Act Four

Taking the road less traveled, and stopping to smell the roses along the way--God what a day! Freedom of expression fulfills me, yet is limited in so many different ways. Frustration is slow to grow...

The Battle Of Nevermore--Act Three

Numerology seems to be the name of the game; never adding up the same--try another name. The physics and the psychics all tell me the same, of my personality and my shame--who's to blame? My image i...

The Battle Of Nevermore--Act Two

Maybe I'm losing my mind-- I'm stuck between the ridiculous and the sublime. Maybe my terms are not defined. It's all for show; What I've been through, I just don't know. Maybe I'm losing my ...

The Battle Of Nevermore--Act One

I was the greatest failure that ever stood triumphant. I was a warrior for my own poor demeanor. I was the greatest performer that never was...a song that was never sung. I was in the spotlight on c...
