RAWW DEAL was born in Jones Town,Kingston. He has 4 brothers and sisters, and grew up in the humble community of Gordown Town where he lived with his Grandmother. . The DJ's grandmother was very protective and didn't like for him to leave the house unsupervised, but this didn't stop the DJ from sneaking out at times to listen sound systems playing in his neighbourhood. At the age of 9 the DJ found interest in dancehall music and would often resight nursery rhymes in dancehall melodies. In High School he spent a lot of his time working on his craft (deejaying) and would participate in whatever music activities that took place at school. He was later inspired by an older cousin to pursue a music career. In 1999 the DJ did his first recording while still in school. He recorded 'Herbalist' for Guerilla Music Productions. The Producer however failed to release the young DJ's first effort. It was disappointing and led him to refrain from voicing for any other Producer. During this time Raww Deal would still do talent shows where he came out on top most times. The glory he got at these shows gave him back the desire to go and try recording again.Late 2002 when he went and did 'Canon' which was featured on Code Red's "Smoke Out Vol.3" produced by Supa Hype. In the same year the DJ met Akiliboy of Kingston 6 Rekords/Byg Family Musik after smashing up a stageshow in the Standpipe Community in Kingston 6 Jamaica. The DJ was immediately recorded on Kingston 6's first project 'Blue Chip Riddim', song entitled 'Let Me In'. The song was released in 2003 and got some airplay and was featured on quite a few mix tapes across the globe. Presently Raww Deal is still working with Kingston 6 Rekords with team Akiliboy, Lorenzo Lewis and Tamara Dasman; he promises to attack the world with positive authentic reggae music.a href=http://www.glitter-graphics.com
