Myself in five...er...10 years. Yeah. That'd be cool. Also, the Red Skull.
My musical tastes are a bit eclectic: Cool jazz from the late 50s and early 60s (e.g. "Kind of Blue," obviously, also "Ascenseur Pour L'Echefaud"); also, I still listen to 80s heavy metal (e.g. Metallica pre-Black Album, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer); And, i hate to admit it, but there is definitely a Top 40 station programmed on my car radio. Really, I can listen to about anything, but I have no tolerance for country music. Oh, yeah, duh, I really like Morrissey & the Smiths too.
Some of my favorites are: Rear Window, High Fidelity, ST2-Wrath of Khan. I can watch these over and over. Oh, and I love a good horror movie. There's nothing like going to a theater and having the bejeezus scared out of you.
I don't really watch much television in my free time --- mainly because I canceled my cable subscription, which I did because I resented paying the cable company so much every month.I Netflix though, so I see a lot of movies and some television series. Right now I'm watching "Deadwood."
I spend a lot of my free time reading cheap fiction. Nothing too stressful on the mind and nothing more than a few hundred pages. Life's too short, and normally 50 pages into a novel I'm already figuring out how many pages remain and thinking about what I'll pick up next. Thanks for the short attention span, MTV. Lately i've been reading A LOT of star trek novels, but that's not all I read. Some of my favorite fiction authors are Donald Antrim (the 100 Brothers was really imaginative); Nick Hornby, but I think the quality of his writing is maybe falling off recently. I think that William Shatner is an outstanding sci-fi author...seriously!
Captain America. Flint. Batman. Optimus Prime.
