About Me

By fusing the delicate acoustic driven melodies of folk with the drunken idiocy of hardcore, and dispensing lyrics that chronicle the day to day experiences of (pissed) urban living, a new aesthetic was formed, termed by many in the know (ie. by us) as "Urban Folk Core". Pugwash And Cornflakes have made it their mission to devise songs simple enough to play when absolutely pissed whilst also providing incisive lyrical critiques of topics that matter to us, such as fighting, hiding, drinking and whether or not Paul Daniels could defeat David Blaine in a conjouring wizard duel (Yes he could, even in his current transmuted form as the wee lil hand of Jeremy Beadle).
