I write everything down it's how I express myself. Since I was a kid in therapy with an "emotional" journal , It's how I released stress. I began writing just my raw feelings in no particular style or format, then during one of my many detentions , I started using poetry. After getting several poems nationally printed I realized I enjoyed and had a little talent for rhyming. The wave of early hip-hop in the late 80's and early 90's provided a new outlet for creativity. Eventually rap became a dominant force in how I dealt with things. Listening to everything I could my hands on I immersed myself as much as a white suburbanite kid from the sticks could. I still buy new albums and throw the headphones on for hours just nodding my head.
