(Producer/Engineer/Mixer)If I have to pitch correct it or beat doctor it from the first note to the last....then you can't do it and I can't get behind it!!!!! I refuse to become a part of this lazy generation of engineers and musicians that rely mostly on the computer to polish the performance. I do not support the idea of "grid-lock rock". I think that the art of recording has gone to shit these days. The technology that has been created for recording audio these days is amazing and I love everything about it but it is the souls that are abusing this technology that are just cheating themselves from learning the art behind a great recording. They made records 30 and 40 years ago with less technology and we still talk about those recordings today. It's all in the performance I can promise you that.
