Life
Well, about me, hmmmm. My life right now is all about my new family. I have a husband, an adorablestep-son, Trent and 2 girls - Makayla and Ryleigh. It's been a long road to this place of contentment - but I have been so blessed!
Family & Friends
I really couldn't ask for more in the way of support and love. My family and friends are fantastic, and I have a great job.
Personality
I'm somewhat of a social chameleon. What I allow people to see of me depends on who I am around and what the circumstances are. In certain situations I can be very quiet and reserved, but when I feel at home, I'm very open and more myself. I'm a fun gal to be around with a different sense of humor that perhaps not everyone appreciates. But then again, I'm not too much into the "stupid humor" or slap-stick comedy, so it doesn't hurt my feelings. Some people just don't get me, that's all I can say.
Work
I work as a HR Specialist/Recruiter for an engineering firm based out of Albany.
Things a wise person once told me:
1. You can't judge other's by their actions and judge yourself by your intentions.
2. God can make you much happier than you can make yourself. Trust Him!
3. Stop shopping KMart when you're Saks Fifth Avenue!
4. If raising children was going to be easy, it never would have started with something called labor!
5. Don't make someone a priority when they only make you an option.

Your Theme Song is Beautiful Day by U2
"Sky falls, you feel like
It's a beautiful day
Don't let it get away"

You see the beauty in life, especially in ordinary everyday moments.
And if you're feeling down, even that seems a little beautiful too. What's Your Theme Song?

Movies:

"Facing the Giants" is a MUST SEE!!! The film was released nationwide September 2006 and the DVD was released in stores January 30th. You can order it online at www.sherwoodbaptist.net. Awesome family movie! It was filmed and produced by my church, Sherwood Baptist. God did big things in the little town of Albany, GA to make it happen. If we put our trust in Him he will always do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we could hope for or imagine.

Visit www.FacingtheGiants.com to view the trailer and find out more.

Television:

My must-see every week is Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Everything else, well, I can kinda take it or leave it. I'm a bit busy these days to watch much of anything.

Books:

The Bible - I believe it is the inerrant Word of God. "The New Strong Willed Child" by Dr. James Dobson - it's a God send! "The Real Poop on Motherhood" - a funny anecdotal read about the woes and joys of new babies.

Heroes:

My Saviour - Jesus Christ
