Lárus Sigurðsson

Larus Sigurdsson...studied the classical guitar at the College of Music in Iceland. Graduated 1993 and started a training in musical instrument making in Emerson College U.K. Based on the work of the philosopher, initiator of the Waldorf education and anthroposophist Rudolf Steiner (1865-1925). Larus has released 4 albums since 1995 and worked with various musicians in Iceland. Including the affable ambient guitarist stafraenn hakon (shakon.com). They have released one album, Calder, an improvised ambient guitar work released 2003, by Vogor recordings. Larus has been working as a musical instrument maker in Iceland in a community for handicapped people in Iceland (solheimar.is) and released one album playing the instruments he has been working on and developing over the years.
