I have been drawing since I was young. My father went to art school, and we would take turns drawing superheroes and such when I was little. I always loved art class, but never made it to college. I'm pretty much self taught, picked up things here and there, ripped off whatever I could. I owe any talent I have to persistance. My artwork begins as pencil sketches, which I go over in felt tip markers. I then scan the drawing into photoshop for touch ups and color. I have tons of influences, but Salvador Dali by far my favorite artist of all time. Of course, my art is also influenced by comic books, HR Giger, Robert Williams, Frank Frazzetta, Olivia, Tim Burton, 70's poster art, anime, tattoo art, graffiti, and pretty much anything that catches my eye. I have also been fortunate to have alot of amazing artists as friends who are also a constant source of inspiration. I have done alot of custom artwork for bands, tattoo designs, logo designs etc. My drawings have been featured in a few local publications, but I've never really made any serious money in art.
