J. Scott "Skip" Rudsenske is an entertainment attorney who has been practicing entertainment law since 1989. He represents clients in the music business such as national recording artists, songwriters and independent record companies. He also represents clients in the film, television, theatrical and book publishing industries.
Besides practicing as an entertainment lawyer, Mr. Rudsenske has taught college courses on the music business and is the author of two books, Music Business Made Simple: Guide To Becoming
A Recording Artist and Music Business Made Simple: Start
an Independent Record Label. He has sat on the board of
directors of The Entertainment and Sports Law section of the Texas
State Bar, Houston Association of Film and Television and The Houston

In addition to practicing as an entertainment lawyer, Mr. Rudsenske has owned a 300 seat live music venue and personally produced events by artists such as
Bush, Oasis, Old 97s, Jewel, Soul Coughing, Jeff Buckley, Bob Mould,
Tonic, Better Than Ezra, Goo Goo Dolls, The Toadies, Matchbox 20, ZZ
Top and others.
Mr. Rudsenske received his bachelors degree at The University Of North
Texas and received his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in Houston
Texas. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and Tennessee.
