Nebular Frost - DRUMMER needed!

About Me

2004/2005/2006
Before Nebular Frost, there was Twisted Circle, which consisted of Bran (vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards) and Isbre (drums). They had played in several different bands beforehand since the summer of 2004, each time moving closer towards black metal. After their original bassist left, they decided to focus more towards black/death metal. As Twisted Circle, Bran and Isbre did a few scratchy recording on a 4-Track recorder. At the time, their influences were based mainly around Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth.
In about the October of 2005, Lord Brew became the new bassist of Twisted Circle, and the name of the band was changed to Nebular Frost. Bran, Isbre and Brew had played together for a while, but nothing ever really happened until Lord Brew joined Twisted Circle. By this time, the bands influences had changed to an older black metal style, such as that of Mayhem, Burzum, Celtic Frost and Emperor. The first demo was recorded around March 2006, under the title Twisted Circle. A rehersals cd with 2 demos on the end was recorded over a weekend in July 2006, named The Black Valley Rehersals. Not long after this we had our first gig opening for Sekhmet and Cachexic at the Zephyr Bar in Exeter followed by a 2nd gig at the same venue in December opening for 666 Pack, Godless Desolation and Stillborn.
2007
Early in the year we played a kick ass gig at The Junction in Bristol (our first and so far only gig in Bristol). After that gig we ended up being banned from the venue, due to some banners Bran had on his personal myspace page. We'd like to say that as a band, Nebular Frost is not about politics or any other bullshit like that and that the thoughts and views of its members should not matter. Its been a pretty good year for us, sharing the stage with bands such as Artisian, Detonation, Bloodshot Dawn, 666 Pack, My Silent Wake, Seregon, Cachexic, Merihim, Austere, Irony of Christ, Amputated, Desecration...we've released a 3-way split with Morkem and Arawn which is still available and at the time of writing this are planning a new release of new, raw and 100% old-fucking-school black metal.
2008
2008 so far has been pretty good for us, two great gigs - one at Metal Mongrol's Metal Massacre in Plymouth and a slot at TJ's in Newport where we received positive feedback from everyone who came and had a chat. Matstock III was a good laugh even though hardly anyone turned up...since then we've been on the quiet due to Uni and whatnot. We've parted ways with Isbre and are currently in the process of finding time to practise with a new drummer...keep your eyes open, we'll be back soon...
