Jaime (Hai-me)

In the desert a thousand years ago before the sky was made. A man asked for a wife. With no company and nothing else the man from one of his ribs made a woman. He loved her. She loved him. She died. Crying he walked the desert carrying her in his arms. At the end of the desert he took her bones and crushed them into the desert ground. All that was left was a white powder from his own rib. He took the white powder and desert ground in his mouth and spat it upward and across the desert. It sprayed everywhere above him. The desert ground blackened the sun itself. All you could see was speckles of white. The night and the stars were made.
