About Me

..

Hey, my name is and I was born and raised in the big P.C. I graduated with my Bachelors in Social Work from Eastern in May of '06. I'm currently working for Horizon Adult Healthcare in Irvine as a case manager/patient care coordinator and, as hectic as it is, I love my job. I eventually want to get my Masters so that I can become a school social worker but for right now, I'm okay. Other than that, I am a pretty down to earth person. I'm usually optimistic about everything and am pretty easy to get along with...in other words, I'll talk ya to death. I have a younger sister, Mariah who is about to turn 11. She's definately my mini-me. We are just alike and that scares my parents a whole hell of a lot. I live here in Richmond and plan on staying here...for awhile anyway. Despite the smallness of it, I love Richmond...plus, I come from a much smaller place so, who am I to complain?

My Interests

I like to read (favorites are Clay's Quilt and The Color of Water). I love the outdoors...swimming, hiking, etc. I love the beach...plan on living there one day. I love hanging out with my little sis, Mariah...she's my favorite person in the whole wide world.

Lyrics

I'd like to meet:

Old friends... and new friends...

Music:

I will listen to ANYTHING!! I love country (Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith), Rock (Staind, Linkin Park, Hoobstank), rap (Nelly, Snoop, eminem), pop (Pink, old school Backstreet Boys lol), 70's music (Blondie, Pat Benetar).

Movies:

I love comedies: Black Sheep; Tommy Boy; Billy Madison; Happy Gilmore...basically anything with Chris Farley or Adam Sandler. I also love independent movies: Memento; The Good Girl; Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Throw in a couple of scary ones every now and then: The Ring; Saw; The Shining.

Television:

I love Sex and the City!! I never really liked it until it went off the air. I couldn't believe that anyone would want to watch such crap but...I started watching the reruns and well...I like to watch crap I guess lol. I also love the Real World...I know, more crap. I

Books:

Clay's Quilt and The Color of Water...I also like a trashy romance every now and then. What??? There's no sense lying about it.

Heroes:

Heroes?? Hmmmmmm...my aunt Sandy. She has always been a role model. Growing up, she was more like my big sis. She's someone that has proven that she can go far despite the obstacles that may be standing in her way. Another one is my momma. She's stubborn and pig-headed but she always stands her ground no matter what...and I respect that.

Life After College

I spent most of my childhood wishing that I was grown.  There wasn't anything more appealing to me than being an independent woman, living on her own and making her own rules.  How lovely it...
