They are simply saying that they can and will harm or inflict pain on you. but if someone says "girl u merked last night" or "you merk" they are giving you a compliment. they are telling you that you looked good, or that you look good. 3.~"Girl down....or Boy down!.": If someone tells you this you might want to stop what you're doing because you are embarassing yourself. 4.~"Say red" or "say black": Females, a New Orleans native says this to you in respect to your skin color. He is trying to get your attention to get your number. 5.~*CHAP*~....THIS USED BY EVERYONE IN THA N.O. Don't be alarmed. 25.~"trade" : This is a term the girls like to use for the fellas who are looking good as hell. So, if a girl sees a handsome young man looking good and clean she would say " Damn, look at that trade" or trade may be used for someone who is giving you financial support or just buying you gifts. So, if a girl is looking for a trade, guys you need to be on the ball and have good financial support.
