About Me


HooHead John (old west slang for rotgut whiskey), a premier Seattle area rock/blues band was formed in 1998 by Brian Butler - Guitars/Lead Vocals, Tom Worcester - Bass, and Bob Currier - Drums. Tom Worcester replaced by Stuart Gordon in late 1999. Bob Currier replaced by Bruce Erickson on drums in 2002. Recorded Debut CD in 2001 called 100 PROOF ROCK AND ROLL with Jay Hoffman on Lead Vocals. Mixed by Evren Goknar(Grand Funk Railroad, Heart, Queensryche, UFO, Robin Trower, KISS, RHCP and more) at Capitol Records in Hollywood, Ca. Other lead vocalists at various times include Laurence Schwarz and Les Wilson. Hoohead John is currently inactive. Brian is the founding member of One Way Out, an Allman Brothers tribute band in Seattle. They are at www.myspace.com/onewayoutbandrocks. He is also a founding member of the original rock band Snakebite which is currently working on new material in Los Angeles. Stuart is currently a member of Union Jack, a Rolling Stones tribute band. Bruce is also in Union Jack and Special Meds.
