I'm 39, single, and suffer from bi-polar disorder, better known as manic-depression. So yeah, I can be a little crazy - be forewarned... my moods can be a little extreme, but NEVER violent and I DON'T hear voices or anything like that LOL! I have a dark, sordid past as I lived my life according to the saying "The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom" (which in a lot of ways it has, but with a pretty high price (I have few regrets), so it's not for everyone!)As Arthur Rimbaud said - "I say you have to be a visionary, make yourself a visionary. A Poet makes himself a visionary through a long, boundless, and systematized disorganization of all the senses. All forms of love, of suffering, of madness; he searches himself, he exhausts within himself all poisons and preserves their quintessence's. Unspeakable torment, where he will need the greatest faith, a superhuman strength, where he becomes among all men the great invalid, the great criminal, the great accursed--and the Supreme Scientist!"... I love music, reading (everything from Kerouac to books on Buddhism to books on military strategy to history - I especially dig Noam Chomsky), bad tv (which I've cut down on a lot! thank god!), my ipod (my one nod to consumerism - face it - it's just a genius device - 85% of my music collection in the palm of my hand can't be beat especially if ya have ADD like me and like switching artists and songs quickly to keep the right mood or vibe going), and I'm studying zen (though I have yet to make it a daily practice - I lack motivation a lot of the time - I think it's the meds...). I also try to write when I feel an attack of the crazies coming on - I have some stuff that's worth sharing but most of it is just perosnal diary/journal type stuff. I'd describe myself politically as an anarchist/left-wing Situationist-inspired council communist Marxist. If you don't know what any of that means look it up on wikipedia. I'm loyal, smart, and can be pretty funny. I'm def. interesting... I definitely have a unique view about life and all its sad and funny and ironic weirdness.
