A Gentle Rebuke, An Encouraging Reminder
But if anyone denies me here on earth, I will deny that person before my Father in heaven. (Matt 10:33) ...The Lord says: "I will reward your evil with evil; you won't be able to pull your neck out of the noose. You will no longer walk around proudly, for it will be a terrible time. (Micah 2:3) Suppose a prophet full of lies would say to you, "I'll preach the joys of wine and alcohol!" That's just the kind of prophet you would like! (Micah 2:11) "Then you beg the Lord for help in times of trouble. Do you really expect Him to answer? After all the evil you have done, He won't even look at you!" (Micah 3:4)
They love to indulge in evil pleasures in broad daylight. They are a disgrace among His people. They delight in deception even as they eat with His people in their fellowship meals...Their desire for sin is never satisfied. They lure unstable people into sin. (2 Peter 2:13-14) They lure back into sin those who have barely escaped from a lifestyle of deception. (2 Peter 2:18) For you are a slave to whatever controls you. And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before. It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life. They prove the proverb: "A dog returns to its vomit." And another says "A washed pig returns to the mud." (2 Peter 2:19-22)
The Lord's patience gives people time to be saved (2 Peter 3:15) So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. (1 John 1:6) We know Him if we obey His commandments. If someone claims "I know God", but doesn't obey God's commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. (1 John 2:3-4)
I have wandered away like a lost sheep; come and find me, for I have not forgotten your commands. (Psalm 119:176) [And] the Lord our God is merciful and forgiving even though we have rebelled against Him. (Daniel 9:9) And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when He returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from Him in shame. (1 John 2:28) Dear children, let's not merely say that we love each other, let us show truth by our actions ... even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and He knows everything. (1 John 3:18,20) "Therefore, I will judge each of you ... according to your actions, says the Sovereign Lord. Turn from your sins! Don't let them destroy you!" (Ezekiel 18:30) Now turn from your sins and turn to God, so you can be cleansed of your sins. (Acts 3:19)
Our Christ suffered for us, and died for our sins. We continue in our stubborn ways, and allow for our sins to be the reason He was crucified. With every sin, we hold the hammer that nailed Him to the cross. Yet, He stands behind us, holds us up, and waits for us to return to Him. So return to the Lord, change the things in your life that separate you from Him, do what is right in His eyes.

So, it's your first kiss and several questions might come to mind:
Is it the right time?
Is anyone watching?
Does your partner even want to?
Is your breath fresh?
And... Should you use some tongue?
Then you lean in and just go for it!!!
I love all types of music! Christian, Blues, Folk Rock, African, Spanish; anything that sounds different than the mainstream stuff is deeply satisfying. The pop, rap, hip hop mainstream stuff can sometimes just be a guilty pleasure
I love to watch movies! But, I don't like vulgar humor and I hate movies with nudity! Foreign movies and indie flicks are wonderful. Some that I really enjoyed: Once, King of California, Eagle vs Shark, Dan in Real Life, The Invasion, Hot Rod, Joyeux Noel, I am Legend, National Treasure (both of them), Amelie, Stranger Than Fiction, We Are Marshall, Lady in the Water, The Village, Connie and Carla, Jean de Florette, Mannon of the Spring, Biloxi Blues, Center Stage, Life is Beautiful, Bourne Identity and Supremecy, The Passion for the Christ, In America, Finding Neverland, Remember the Titans, etc etc etc.
I have a terrible time finishing books. I highly highly highly recommend Captivating by John and Staci Elderidge, The 5 Love Languages by Dr. Chapman, and When the Mind Hears by Harlan Lane. Here are some others I enjoyed, whether I finished them or not: A Marriage Without Regrets, Fahrenheit 451, The Tree, Where the Wild Things Are (Just because!), Wild at Heart, Passion and Purity, Mark of a Man, Tumble Home, Ragamuffin Gospel, A Ready Defense, Expect a Miracle, The Dive from Clauson's Pier, The Chronicles of Narnia, Hinds Feet on High Places, And the Bride Wore White, She's Come Undone.
