MyGen Profile Generator Colin Snape Initially a classically trained pianist, Colin Snape (aka Scrambler) has studied jazz at the V.C.A. and has been performing live for over fifteen years. Since turning to computer generated sounds in the mid nineties, Scrambler has been refining his production skills and developing a unique breakbeat sound that blends an eclectic musical background with contemporary styles and techniques. Scrambler Live Using both computer and keyboard playing skills, Colin mashes up elements of his compositions to create fresh sounds and explore new possibilities. Scrambler consciously blends and manipulates each element of the music, composing in the moment. Every sonic variation the result of a real-time action by the performer, live. The result is a largely improvised set which, whilst utilising his studio works as departure points, always yields new and sometimes very unexpected fruits.
